The Walt Disney Company came to the rescue of its beleaguered European theme park today as it agreed to back a €1 billion bailout for Disneyland Paris.
The move fuelled claims that the park has always struggled to pay its bills, however, it was hoped that popular attractions such as Ratatouille, which opened this summer, would boost the company.
Detractors pointed out that the park was facing a cash-flow crisis amid a slump in the number of visitors
