iPhone 6 going to China

The giant China market will be getting the iPhone 6 on October 17. It will be sold by carriers and online, with orders accepted on October 10.
“We are thrilled to bring iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to our customers in China on all three carriers at launch,” said Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.

Bug in iOS 8 can erase iCloud documents

Don’t reset all your settings in iOS 8, as a bug will also erase all your documents in iCloud. 
Once the documents are erased from iCloud, those syncing their devices to the cloud may find them also erased locally with the next sync.
Deleted files can be recovered from backups.

Apple Pay may launch on October 20

A rumor has surfaced that claims those in a position to know are stating that iOS 8.1, the update that enables Apple Pay, will be released on Oct. 20. Developers got access to the beta version of 8.1 recently.
