Advice to the Servant of God Nashaihul Ibad by Syaikh Nawawi Al Bantani

TWO MAIN THINGS

As narrated by the Prophet Muhammad, he actually said
"there are two things that can not be surpassed by the other, that is, the faith of the gods and the benefit of those around him."

Narrated from Uwais Al - Qarni. RA. He says:

"On the way I met a minister, then I asked him: O pastor, what matter can a man raise?

Pastor answered:

"Reverses the rights of the persecuted and relieves him of responsibility, for the deeds of the servant will not rise (To God) if he is still in debt or he is doing wrong and evil."

Two sadness

And the fifth article: From Ustman ibn Affan, he said:

'The sadness in world affairs can darken the heart. Sadness in the matter of the afterlife can illuminate the heart. "
then pray; "O God do not make this world our great tribulation, nor the end of our knowledge."

****************************************************************

TWO SEARCH

In the sixth article;

From Ali ibn Abi Talib: "He who seeks knowledge, means he seeks paradise, and who seeks disobedience means seeking hell"

*******************************************************************

TWO ATTITUDES OF THE NOBLE PEOPLE AND WISE

And the seventh article;

From Yahya Ibn Mu'adz, he said:

"The noble person will not be disobedient to God, he will be vigilant in the face of immorality. The wise man will not choose the world, where he means he will restrain himself on the lust and deeds deviate from the guidance of reason and religion.

*********************************************************************

TWO DIFFERENT CAPITAL RESULTS

From the eighth article:

From al - a'masy [Sulayman ibn mihran al - kufi] he said:

"Who is the capital of his wealth in the form of piety, then all oral will not be able to describe the profits in his religion and his life.Who is the capital of the world, the noblest will not be able to describe the loss in his religion and his life."

********************************************************************
PEOPLE WHO HAVE LITTLE KNOWLEDGE AND PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW HIM

And in the fourteenth article:

From the religious scholars of hukama and their awliya (shaykh) said:

who would have thought he had a major helper than God, then he knew God a little. means he really does not know God well.

who suspects that a helper is closer to him than God and more help, then he does not know God.

who thinks that he has a stronger enemy than his lust, means he has not yet reached himself.

who does not yet know the ferocity of his own lust which always influences him toward the direction of the carn, meaning he does not know that lust is the worst enemy.

**********************************************************************
TWO SOURCES OF DAMAGE

From the fifteenth article:

Abu Bakr Ash Shiddiq in interpreting the word of God

"There has been damage on land and in the ocean."

he said:

"The meaning of the land is oral and the sea means the heart." If oral is broken, then weep the human.

Hurt humans because of bad words and verbal abuse to others, for example because of showing off or insulting other people. then the angel cries.
******************************************************************

LUST AND PATIENCE

And the sixteenth article: it is said that lust can cause the ruler to become a slave because people are more pleased with something, that's when he has become a servant of something he likes.

patience can cause slaves to be kings. because one with that fortitude one can reach what he wants

Do you know about the story of the noble child Prophet Yusuf A.S is the son of the patient prophet Yaqub A.S , Prophet Yaqub is the son of Prophet Ishaq A.S is the son of Prophet Ibrahim A.S , the beloved of Allah, in the story zulaikha, the queen of the king was very loved Yusuf, but with patience Yusuf able to face all of Zulaikha's woof and deceit. Finally Joseph 'the slave' became King.

*************************************************************************
THERE ARE TWO MIND CONTROLS

And seventeenth article:

there are those who say: "Be merciful to the one who keeps his intellect as king, that is, those who follow his righteous intellect, while his lust is reluctant to prohibit God or things that are inconsistent with the rules of God.

And woe to the man who made his lust as king, his intellect is shackled and controlled by his lust while his mind is made captive. That is the person whose mind no longer serves to reflect on God or the creator with all the pleasures of God and the majesty of God

*************************************************************************

PEOPLE WITH KNOWLEDGE AND FOOL .

And the twenty-first article says "There is no exile for the noble (having knowledge) and no homeland for the fool.

The noble person is a person who is knowledgeable and do good deeds, he is always glorified and in respect of others wherever he is. Therefore, although in a foreign land, he still lives like a house by himself. And fools are the opposite of it all.
