Paul Young, Citigroup Inc. (C)’s head of
debt capital markets for Europe, Middle East and Africa, left
for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, according to two people
familiar with the matter.
Young will join the Tokyo-based bank as international head
of capital markets, said one of the people, who requested
anonymity because the move hasn’t been made public. Young
relocated to London from New York in 2001 to run Citigroup’s
European debt syndicate desk.
Jeff French, a Citigroup spokesman, and Lauren Sambrotto at
Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, a unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial
Group Inc. (8306), declined to comment. Reuters reported on the
departure yesterday.
