Early researchers such as Allport suggested as many as 4,000 different and distinct personality traits, others such as Raymond Cattell proposed only sixteen. Today, the majority of personality researchers support the Five Factor theory of personality, which describes five broad personality dimensions that compose human personality - These are:
Extraversion
It indicates how outgoing and social a person is. A person who scores high in extraversion on a personality test is the life of the party.
