Allah
the Exalted says to people who have a heart, "Surely, it actually
contained a warning to people who have a heart." (Surah Qaf, 50:37) And
when he called nafs Allaah says, " Indeed nafs was always told to evil ... "(Surah Yusuf, 12:53)
God said to Moses, "Blame your nafs, because the most worthy to be blamed is the nafs. When bermunajat me, bermunajatlah with oral shidq and hearts full of fear. "
Know that every time the heart has something good, then the nafs also have something similar that can obscure. As God gives hearts desire (will of god), then God also gave nafs empty chimera (tamanniy). As God gives hearts a feeling of love (mahabbah), then God gave nafs lust (Eve). As God gives hearts expectation (rojâ`), then God gave nafs greed (Thoma '). As God gives hearts a feeling of fear (Khauf), then God gave nafs despair (qunûth). Consider and reflect upon my words.
One example that can provide a clear picture of the state of the person you are in debt. You often see people who do not want to pay off debts. But when acquiring property, he actually giving it, and not trying to pay off debt. That is an example of good works arising from the nafs. For, among the many types of nafs, there nafs likes to do murûah and feel pleasure when giving.
People who nafs is like this feel pleasure in giving as bad people feel pleasure when it rejected the request for help. Similarly, those who do the sunnah, but leaving compulsory. For example: people who do Hajj repeatedly with halal and haram money and ignore piety in other affairs. Among them there are the pilgrimage on foot, but underestimate prayer. Hasan Al-Basri RHM said, "There is someone saying, 'I have the Hajj, the pilgrimage I had.' You have to perform the pilgrimage, therefore sambunglah ties, help people who are trouble, and do good to the neighbors."
Another example is those who seek treasure haram then spend it in his favor. As already I tell you, all these actions are driven by the nafs, did not have a relationship with the heart.
God made "an act done in moderation" for the nafs and "reasonable actions done" to heart. If you look at the behavior, or the pursuit of knowledge and worship done quietly (thuma'ninah), then know that the act was emerging from the heart and the culprit is the reason. But, if you see someone who's behavior, how to study and worship is not done quietly, the culprit emotional and stupid, then know that the activity was driven by the nafs and Eve. Therefore, Eve damage and shake sense. Wherever they are, Eve will always destructive.
Such is the nature of Eve. If Eve interact with reason, Eve would be degrading and shake. If interact with religion, Eve would contaminate and ruin.
