Lessons from the story of the prostration of the Angels to Adam

Pelajaran dari Kisah Sujudnya Para Malaikat kepada AdamAllaah has placed Adam and offspring in a glorious position, more noble than the other of His creatures. One piece of evidence that shows it is after God created Adam, God commanded the angels to prostrate to Adam 'alaihi wa salam shalatu.
"And (remember) when We said to the angels:" Prostrate you to Adam, "then they threw themselves except Satan; he is reluctant and arrogant and he belonged to the people who disbelieve. "(QS. Al-Baqarah: 34)
Events prostration of the angels to Adam sometimes polemical in the majority of Muslims, or indeed this issue deliberately thrown into the midst of the Muslims to spread confusion by questioning "Why did Allah be pleased with his creatures prostrate to other than Him? Is this not tantamount to legitimize kesyirikan? And Satan is a servant of God who really mentauhidkannya for refusing to bow down to Adam ". Approximately so ambiguous phrase is often exaggerated by some.
We need to know is the scholars divide the prostration into two parts; The first, second prostration of worship and bow down (tahiyah) homage.
Prostration of worship should only be offered to God alone should not be told apart from Him. God never commanded any of His creatures to prostrate to other than Him in order to worship the creature. God commands the angels bow down to Adam is not in order prostration of worship but prostrate reverence.
Prostration tribute is part of the law earlier peoples, then this practice is forbidden by the coming of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Among the examples of reverence prostration is prostration of the angels to Adam 'peace be upon him. Likewise, the Prophet Joseph's dream that he tell his father the Prophet Ya'qub then that dream come true. Joseph is told in the letter,
(Remember) when Yusuf said to his father, "O my father! I dreamed I saw eleven planets, sun and moon; I saw all of them bowed down to me. "(QS. Yusuf: 4)
And he raised both mother-father onto the throne. And they (all) settles down as he bowed down to Joseph. Joseph and said, "O my father this is the first ta'bir dream it; my Lord has indeed made a reality ... "(QS. Yusuf: 100)
These are among examples of prostrate reverence which is part of the law previous race.
Similar experiences have occurred to Muadz bin Jabal when he saw the People of the Book in the Sham. When returning from Syria, Muadz fell down before the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, then the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said,
"What is this, O Mu'adh?" Muadz replied, "I just came from Sham. This is similar to what I did them, (the people there) mereja prostrate for bishops and their priests. I was willing to do it to you. "He sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied," Do not you doing. Had I ordered one to kneel, then will I command the wife to prostrate to her husband. "(Reported by Ibn Majah, No. 1853).
What do residents of Sham is an example of a previous law that still they resume practicing, they bowed to the religious leaders and their figures as a tribute to the princes, not to worship them.
Among other examples, too, there was a reptile that bow down to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam then he banned it because prostration to the creature, be it bow down even more prostrate homage to worship, is prohibited under the Shari'a of Muhammad sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam. In the scales of the Shari'a of Muhammad (read: Islamic law) is tantamount to respect prostrate prostration of worship, is prohibited if it is dedicated to other than Allah.
Another lesson we can learn from the events of the prostration of the angels to Adam 'peace be upon him is, the devil, including from the jinn instead of a group of angels as understood by most people.
Angels are created from light, whereas the jinn including the devil, God created from fire. Allah says,
And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate you to Adam, so they prostrated except Iblis. He is from the class of jinn, he disobeyed the command of his Lord ... "(Qur'an, Al-Kahf: 50)
God said, "Are you off to prostrate (to Adam) at the time I told you?" Satan answered, "I'd rather thereof, You created me from fire was him You created from clay." (QS. Al-Araf: 12)
Thus the devil is not in the class of angels, then he is only with the angels of God abiding. Some claimed, formerly the devil was jinn who obey God. This was the reason he was honored with the angels gathered together even though he was not an angel. But eventually vanity seen in the presence of the angels, when God tested with command to bow down to Adam.
